Game break: Text Twist
Yeah, I know, this game has been around since ever. But it’s still awesome, and it’s been brought to my attention that many people do not know this game exists. Well.
Text Twist is beloved of nerds everywhere (and by nerds everywhere, really I mean the undergraduate staff of Harvard FAS IT. They’re really a rather verbal lot. You know, for computer geeks.)
Why? Because it’s challenging but not frustrating. It’s competitive, but you can easily play with a bunch of people looking over your shoulder and “helping” by shouting out words. It’s a welcome break from shooting things or trying to hit keys at the right times.
Also, it has good sound effects.

The six-letter word is “hotbed”.
