Threadless Tees are $9
Threadless has a big sale going on, now until Sunday. Use this link to do your shopping and I get points towards more indie-ish t-shirts. Kind of a brilliant viral marketing incentative, that. You heard it here first.

Really, there’s nothing more I can say.

Last summer I work on revamping some UI stuff for a free Windows Live service called FolderShare. Now you can actually use some of my work! To make your computer-life easier! Using the internet!
…I know this outs me as a huge n00b, but I still find that really exciting.

Yeah, I know, this game has been around since ever. But it’s still awesome, and it’s been brought to my attention that many people do not know this game exists. Well.
Text Twist is beloved of nerds everywhere (and by nerds everywhere, really I mean the undergraduate staff of Harvard FAS IT. They’re really a rather verbal lot. You know, for computer geeks.)
Why? Because it’s challenging but not frustrating. It’s competitive, but you can easily play with a bunch of people looking over your shoulder and “helping” by shouting out words. It’s a welcome break from shooting things or trying to hit keys at the right times.
Also, it has good sound effects.

Continuing my series of freakin awesome videos featuring animals:
Hat tip to Kyle for the awesome find. Oh, and to BBC for, you know, taking the video.
So it looks like Spore (possibly the most overhyped game of the last five years) will soon be released for iPhone (definitely the most overhyped piece of hardware of the last five years).
I, for one, am incredibly excited.
Also, the SDK is out, at long last! And iPhone 2.0 will have support for Microsoft Exchange!
And I don’t mean the text. A NY Times article from last month examines the websites of the Democratic contenders, analyzing stylistic elements to extrapolate things about the candidates’ personalities and campaign strategies.
The conclusions were underwhelming: Barack appeals more to a young, more tech-savvy crowd, and has a more unified message. Yes. Hillary appeals more to traditional Democrats, and has a more politician-y image. Yes.
But though the conclusion may be hum-drum, the metaphor used to frame the article is kind of hilarious:
On one thing, the experts seem to agree. The differences between hillaryclinton.com and barackobama.com can be summed up this way: Barack Obama is a Mac, and Hillary Clinton is a PC.
